April 14th 2010

Pamela:  Are you interested in the Roast Beast Dinner of Friday, 04/23/10 at church?

And remember the Pizza Hut fund raiser on Monday, 04/26/10.  I thought you could come right after work as it is the Pizza Hut at East Robinson and Nia. Falls Blvd.

Remember - I have no life.

Daniel: Sorry I didn't respond yesterday.. It was busy at work... I should make it to the pizza hut thing.. Probably not the roast beast... Remember when we used to go to pizza hut for that book-it program? I saw a guy wearing a "vintage" book-it shirt the other day.. Reminded me of that

Pamela:
Yea - I remember that.  It was fun.  I spent all that money and in the end, you just got a lousy small paper back book.  No - it was fun and great.  I really did enjoy it.  You grew up so fast especially when you started to go to school. The roast beast dinner gets to be over the top.  The church needs the money.  For the pizza hut thing,  I don't know if you still are picking up and taking that woman home from work because I thought you could come directly after work as it is down the street.  I have training all day on that Monday, 04/26/10 and it is from 8 to 4.  thought we could meet at 5:45 pm.  Let me know what time you can make it.  It is from 4 pm to 8 pm - Pizza Hut (roast beast dinner is from 4:30 to 6:00 pm).

Glad you are busy.  I am still bored but have a little work to do.  It is tiring doing nothing.  Grandma still doesn't know if she is coming or not but she is planning on it.  It all depends on Don and his angiogram thing.

Daniel: Yes I am still taking her to and from work.. So closer to 6 would be better... And the cell phone bill came.. Ill look at it and figure it out as to how we should split the bill as my crackberry is the majority of the charges Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Pamela:
Okay, I was wondering why it didn't come and I forgot it is in your name and is going to your new address.

April 13th 2010

Pamela: Had back to back Deacon's and Council Mtg. last night.  Lasted from 7 to 9:30 pm.  Grandma Z, drove off without her headlights on.

Forgot to say good morning.  Can you tell I am bored.

April 8th 2010

Pamela: Don't want to bug you but miss you and think about ya….  Did you know that Ore-Ida FF's and Toaster Strudel Pastry are some of the worst foods you can eat?  Was looking up stuff on Web MD as grandma was diagnosed with paraneoplastic syndrome.

Daniel: What does that mean? And regarding the FF and toaster strudel.. Aren't both of those in your freezer right now? Lol
Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Pamela: I was forced to eat the Pastry Strudel as Grandma bought them and only ate one so I had to eat the rest.  Those Bob Evans things aren't good for ya either - give me a stomach ache, of course, I know they are not good for you.  A syndrome is a combination of symptoms.  Paraneoplastic syndrome associated with small cell carcinoma, (lung cancer), results from substances produced by the tumor, occuring far away from the tumor.  Symptoms include fatigue, loss of appetite and weight.  Sometimes I think these doctors lie to her.  Of course, you well know, Don is another story.  Yes - there are steak fries in my freezer.  They are my favorite...... (I have cravings for PB as you well know and Fritos barbeque honey twists). and Kessler's and Soco.

Pamela:
You got mail for your change of address.  Did you get a census form as I did not include you on my census.  You have to stand up to be counted.  Keep on watching your video.  Did you see some of the remarks on the blog.  Some are rude.
Thinking of getting rid of the landline.  It is costing me over $33 per month - that's about $400 per year.  I don't use it that much anymore.
Daniel: Yeah I got the change of address info at my place... And yes drew and I filled out the census last night..

You probably should get rid of the landline.. What is the point of even having it anymore? But it is up to you.

Pamela: Am I being charged per e-mail on your blackberry???

Daniel: No... I have the unlimited data in the plan.. So I can get emails and use the internet and no matter how much I use it is always the same.

Pamela:  That's good.  Do you want me to leave you alone now?  Can you tell I am bored?

Daniel: No you don't have to leave me alone.. I like chatting with you since I am bored most of the day also... I'm just waiting for lunchtime at 115... I have been bringing salads and fruit and of course some nice yogurt.. Been trying to stay away from food at GEICO Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Pamela:   That's good.  I have been trying to eat better.  Trying not to eat between meals or when I am done with supper - that is it.  Only down to 238.2 but the weekend is coming.  Anything I lose during the week, I gain back on the w/e.  I may be a hopeless case.  Last night I fell asleep before 9 pm.  I am "tired" from doing no work and being bored.

March 22nd 2010

Pamela: See that the video you did for Geico has hit the www.  There was even a segment on ABC news last Friday about it.  It is real popular - you are famous.

Daniel: Yeah I have been hearing about the fact it is all over the internet and on all sorts of news segments.. Who would have thought???

How are you today?

Pamela:
I am trying to remain calm and ride the wave out.  Still not doing anything but trying to get  caught up on real old progress notes, reading the paper, magazines, bible, might work on my deacon's minutes.  It's like they don't even know I am here.  It is so lame.  Guess there's nothing I can do about it.  Missed you at the pancake breakfast.  I had to go home and take a shower - all that grease.  It was a lot of work.  Worked from 8 am to 1 pm.  Then went home and did three loads of wash and paid bills.  Went to John & Mary's for dinner.  Didn't have a coupon though.

Did you go to that wine thing.  You probably didn't have the money to go

Miss ya.

Daniel: It's so interesting that you are sitting there doing basically nothing. I did not go to the wine thing.

I finished up laundry and have to pick up my dry cleaning after work. I also had to replace the bulbs in my tail lights as water gets in there and causes the bulbs to blow all the time.. No good!

Pamela:
sounds typical of a chevy and an eagle summit.

Hey did you want that triple sec in the closet or do you just want me to keep it as your kitchen/cupboard space is so limited.  I am surprised that the kitchen is so small in that apt.

Just finished writing up my Deacon's minutes.

Do you think that you would be interested in going to Redeemer's easter breakfast at about 8:15 am or 8:30 or so on 04/04/10 (Easter).

March 19th 2010

Pamela: I think there is some type of wine conv at the Bflo Conv Center tomorrow??? Did you read about it. Thought you may be interested.  I don't know how much it cost to attend.

Daniel: Sounds interesting.. I will have to look into it! You know I like the wine.

They are letting us go home early since it is so dead here today. I am leaving work now.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Pamela: How nice and the weather is nice out although it looks sort of cloudy in the distance.  I wish I could go home early.  Whatever happened to the days where I could go out in territory.  And then I remember all the times I was in bad neighborhoods in the dark and working til 9:00 pm.  I guess I can't have it both ways but I feel so useless here.  They have not offered me any training except for the computer training that I took a couple of months ago.

Daniel: Well I think it will be a good change for a while. So they haven't trained you at all? What in the world are they waiting for?? But nonetheless I think you stick with this for a while so you can de stress and stop worrying as much. And then hopefully you can find a job that is more challenging.

Pamela:
Next step would be a supervisor - Grade 11 - then maybe I could afford "the cheap condo on the waterfront" of course by that time the condo will probably cost well over $200,000 and I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway.  Nothing they do here makes sense.  People feel threatened by me and two other workers that they transferred up here as well as a new supervisor.  The word is is that there is going to be a big blow up before the 2nd deputy commissioner retires.  Word is that they are going to send some workers here down to children's services to show them what real work is.

My blood pressure has gone down although it is still fluctuating which is still a problem.  Believe it or not I am more tired doing nothing than actually working but I am less worried and less stressed which is good.  Wish I would have done something different with my life.

I put new batteries in the remote.  I was watching and taping a show at the same time.  Are you able to put it "in reverse" while watching it?  It didn't work last night although I may not have been pointing it to the sensor.  I have been on the chaise the past few nights to have my feet up as they still bother me.

I am done with physical therapy - that was getting me down as I was getting up at 4:00 am - Bummer.

Daniel: Well I hope everything goes okay and no one hates you because you came up there... You can do anything you put your mind to. I really want you to find something you enjoy.. Or at the very least don't hate.

And regarding the dvr you should be able to rewind the show you are watching despite taping another.

Glad PT is over.. I know that was a pain.. Is your foot better? I hope you can start your walks again.. I know you liked that. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Pamela:
I wanted to start walking last night but I got lazy and got on the internet.  On Wed i have been going to lenten services.  Mon and Tues - i didn't feel well and the other night it was breezy.  As you can see, I have a lot of excuses.  I would like to start doing the river walk again.  Too embarrassed to use by walkman as no one has them anymore.  Some people here have some real nice headsets.  I saw a guy on the plan to maine with "bose" head sets.  They must really be expensive.  Not getting any overtime but when I start the training then I will probably get some OT.  Remember the OT got too much for me as I was so burned out but I made almost $5,000 worth of OT last year and didn't even work all the OT I was given but I did most of it.

Did you check the geico link on msn.com last night as it had your video on as I could not find it on You Tube.
